OUR STORY
At Gro Yoga & Wellness, we believe in movement with intelligence, intention, and heart. We serve as a bridge between traditional yoga and modern movement, honoring the practices and teachers that came before us while staying open to what’s emerging now.
Our studio was built to be a space where growth feels safe and supported.
We offer authentic yoga and wellness experiences led by teachers who are committed to lifelong learning. We know your practice is always evolving, and we’re evolving with you.
We honor the way your practice changes, and create space for you to return to yourself, again and again.
Our classes are gently heated to 90+ degrees using infrared panels. Unlike traditional heat, infrared warms the body directly, creating a calm, steady warmth that supports your practice without overwhelming the system.
This intentional heat helps you move with ease, release tension, and connect more deeply to your breath and body.
The warmth is intentional. The benefits are many:
why infrared?
-
Infrared heat has been known to support the body’s natural detox process by encouraging a steady, gentle sweat. Combined with mindful movement and breath, the warmth helps release what no longer serves you. It clears space for clarity, presence, and a deeper connection to your practice.
-
acticing in an infrared-heated space may ease physical discomfort by increasing circulation and softening tense muscles. The warmth moves through the body like sunlight through soil, helping to dissolve deeply held tension with more ease and awareness.
-
Infrared heat paired with intentional movement has been shown to soothe the nervous system. As the body softens and the breath deepens, you return to a state of regulation and rest. It’s a gentle invitation to settle and reconnect.
-
Movement in a warmed room supports healthy blood flow and oxygen delivery throughout the body. This improved circulation nourishes muscles and joints, helping your system function with greater vitality and ease.
-
Infrared heat has been known to support immune health by creating a mild rise in core temperature, similar to a natural fever response. When combined with breath and movement, it helps the body strengthen its defenses and restore balance from within.
-
Sweating in infrared heat may help purify the skin by releasing built-up toxins and improving overall circulation. The result is a fresh, natural glow that comes from within; not from force, but from release
-
The gentle elevation in body temperature during infrared movement has been known to support metabolic function. Over time, it may help regulate energy, support weight balance, and keep the body functioning in a state of harmony.
